about
After a lifetime of supporting artists as a theatrical stage manager most recently at The Metropolitan Opera, Yasmine Kiss cultivated her passion for working in clay two years ago at Community Arts Pottery Studio. Pottery, and the terrific community it attracts, has allowed her to find the artistic voice she never knew she needed and a true third space defining the next chapter of her life.
In addition to the Westside YMCA, she has taken courses at BKLYN CLAY and the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina. New York City continues to be a spectacular source of inspiration as her skills and style continue to develop and her thirst for learning and exploring new horizons expands nationwide. She looks forward to finally being able to make more than three shapes on the potter's wheel.
